ESTATES OFFICE PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING SECTION Senior Officer (25260930) The University is seeking responsible, organised and focused professionals in built environment to join the Estates Office amidst the growing demand on campus development. Responsibilities: Support the Project Management and Development Planning Section by carrying out project and design management duties for Capital and Alteration, Addition and Improvement (AA&I) projects; Carry out space planning and feasibility studies for campus development projects as well as long term campus strategic plans; Take part in the preparation of presentation packages including drawings, renderings and data visualisation, as well as production of documentation necessary for tendering and project delivery; Represent the Estates Office in communicating with internal and external counterparts as required on matters related to project execution and/or campus planning and development; and Perform other tasks as required by supervisors. Requirements: A recognised degree in Architectural studies or related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant work experience; A full member of HKIA will be an advantage; Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese and proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp, with Revit being an advantage; and The ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and changing environment with a service-orientated mindset and positive manner to communicate with others. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Salary will be commensurate with professional qualifications and experience.
