Identify and select qualified suppliers for instrumentation, electrical, general components and Class C materials, negotiating contracts and pricing.
Review and assess technical specifications to ensure compliance with project /department’s needs.
Manage procurement budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving strategies for electrical items and general components.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery and avoid project delays.
Ensure all products meet Sulzer quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify procurement risks, maintain documentation, and implement mitigation strategies for supply chain issues.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement of high-volume materials for large-scale oil and gas projects.
Solid understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and industry trends.
Strong working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suit
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in both Arabic and English.
