ESTATES OFFICE CAMPUS SAFETY AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTION Senior Officer / Officer (Facilities / Housing Management) (25260565) The appointee will be responsible to provide quality facilities management services for the campus buildings, staff quarters and off-campus premises of the University. Responsibilities: * Perform day-to-day building management operations and supervise outsourced services providers; * Manage the senior staff quarters of the University; * Handle and give advice on tenancy matters of on-campus and off-campus premises; * Manage and follow up all issues in relation to government leases of the University premises; * Monitor the performance of facilities management services in the University premises;  * Review operation guidelines and procedures to enhance good practice; and * Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: * A recognised degree in Surveying/ Real Estates/ Facilities Management or related disciplines; with a minimum of four years’ relevant work experience; * Members of a professional institution will be an advantage; * Good at multi-tasking, be creative in problem-solving and self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet tight schedules; and * Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding. Applicants with less relevant work experience may be considered for the post of Officer.
