Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Online Trade & Strategy Manager working for Kmart you will:

  • Responsible for maximising sales growth, by driving and converting customer demand
  • Define customer-centric sales and customer growth strategies that are scalable and forward looking
  • Accountable for sales and driver forecasting, working closely with Financial Planning to set commercial expectations for the Online channel
  • Use customer insights and data to identify key growth opportunities & blockers at a macro level
  • Responsible for driving the ideation and planning of portfolio trade initiatives
  • Staying connected and providing transparency on market trends, domestically and internationally to drive omni-channel thinking and best in class online trading
  • Drive “trade” thinking, ensuring the Online Trade & Strategy team are identifying and capitalising on all trade opportunities profitability
  • Responsible for driving high performance in strategic third-party partnerships

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Degree in Ecommerce, Marketing or related discipline
  • Experience developing and executing commercial strategies
  • Proven ability to create a high-performing, customer-centric culture
  • Prior discount retail experience strongly preferred, ideally in an EDLP environment
  • Strong financial management, preferably P&L
  • Exceptional people leadership
  • Highly analytical and results-oriented: can use complex data to make informed and practical decisions
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth understanding of and ability to lead key subject areas, including trading/merchandising, sales forecasting, performance analysis and merchandise planning and management
