Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities To lead the Engineering and Production team for overall production delivery . To supervise and maintain production line in proper order, following procedures and control plan all the time. To execute production build plans & activities according to timeline. To participate to continuously monitor and improve the product line processes & quality. To provide the necessary support and coordination to pilot build of new products for timely completion. Identify, quantify and report any quality problem with materials and / or processes for seeking solution from the team. To drive relevant counterparts (e.g. Main Store, Finished Good & etc) for timely kitting and completion of jobs against customer delivery schedule. Performs any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time. Education & Experience A Degree in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or its equivalents with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in high volume high mix production environment managing operations. Skills Leadership capabilities to manage a production team of supervisor, line leaders & operators. Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving Work effectively with other members of Coherent Ipoh. Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is a bonus. Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects is a bonus.
