Betashares Direct is an investing platform designed and operated by Betashares to help customers build wealth. Betashares is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the Betashares Direct operations team as a Senior Operations Analyst.

In this role, you will work closely with other members of the team (and broader business) and report into the Investment Operations Manager for Betashares Direct. Your core responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and be a leader across all aspects of operations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record of strong problem-solving skills and being resourceful in finding solutions to issues or operational risks.
- Detailed oriented with the ability to think in a structured and analytical manner.
- Market and industry experience with 3+ years in asset management, custody, or financial services.
- Degree in a Finance or Commerce field (an accounting qualification CPA or CA will be highly regarded).
- Curiosity to explore and adopt technology to improve process efficiency and reduce risk (experience in SQL, Python is desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Custody, cash processing & settlement oversight
- Checks & reconciliations
- Corporate actions processing & oversight.
- AML transaction monitoring
- Tax & accounting preparation for the scheme and its customers.
- Regulatory reporting.
