Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in any Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 22 years of experience, with an average of over 25 years
  • Experience with oil and gas engineering companies involved in both onshore and offshore projects
  • Experience with oil and gas operators; hands-on offshore experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with the North West Shelf (NWS) in Australia and local regulatory requirements, as the project is based in the NWS
  • Strong knowledge of multi-discipline project execution
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD and other engineering and design tools, including Intelligent P&IDs, SPI, SPE, and Navisworks
  • Solid understanding of industry sectors such as onshore, offshore, LNG, and refineries
  • Knowledge of digital project delivery and its application in Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
  • Experience and knowledge in procurement and topsides/module fabrication is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering an Operations and Maintenance Philosophy/Plan for an offshore floating gas processing facility, aligned with company strategy. Key focus areas include:
  • Minimizing operations and maintenance to achieve the lowest combined CAPEX and OPEX
  • Ensuring compliance with company functional requirements
  • Meeting local regulatory requirements (North West Shelf, Australia)
  • Manage aspects of the overall Scope of Work related to or influencing Operations and Maintenance, including:
  • Industry learnings
  • Value and optimization studies
  • Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis
  • Estimation of operations and maintenance hours (planned, unplanned, regular, campaign/TAR), and PoB (Persons on Board) levels
  • Interface with all other parts of the Scope of Work to deliver an integrated Philosophy/Plan across Hull, Topsides, and Turret/Mooring Systems, including:
  • System selection
  • Best Available Technology (BAT) – Key equipment
  • Equipment selection
  • Equipment definition and supplier interface
  • Sparing, standardization, digital delivery, and training
  • Chemicals (Requirement and Use)
  • Materials Selection
  • Mechanical and material handling
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, fostering a positive team dynamic at all levels.
