JOB DESCRIPTION:

With over three decades of experience in the industry, Hawkesworth has established itself as one of the leading Electrical Testing companies in the UK. From our headquarters in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, we operate a team of over 180 engineers who carry out Electrical Testing and other services across the country.
We are now seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in an expanding Department at Head Office as a Senior Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing engineers’ schedules and ensuring that projects are completed on time. You will work closely with engineers, providing them with accurate data and support to help them deliver the best possible service to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a world class CRM System to book engineer work
  • Planning large projects for engineers
  • Processing engineer reports
  • Building parts lists from engineer reports
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations, order parts and manage deliveries
  • Maintain and update the customer database
  • Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical testing services and related products would be an advantage.
