JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Senior Operations Manager. This is a fulltime permanent onsite position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the facility in order to manage and improve the flow of goods in and out of the properties.
  • Monitoring operating cost performance and implementing actions to correct deviations from plan.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure facility and equipment maintenance meets required standards.
  • Effectively manage all inquiries of internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining responsibility for the operation of major base building systems (e.g boilers, chillers, electrical power distribution system, HVAC, plumbing etc.) on a 7/24 basis.
  • Participating in corporate meetings.
  • Developing annual and long-range maintenance plans.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with all codes, standards, regulations, and legislation.
  • Ensure Property Condition Assessments are completed accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Property management team.

Leadership

  • Directly responsible for leading Operation team, cleaning staff and security guards.
  • Set and enforce work performance and operating standards for all employees and contractors, and provide training and development to maximize productivity and enhance proficiency.
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively, and efficiently with all employees to maintain a productive and participatory environment.
  • Lead and hold team accountable to the established reliability and productivity guidelines to provide timely delivery and accurate inventory.
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting staff requirements, conducting regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, and effectively managing performance.
  • Lead and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Health & Safety

  • Enforce all health and workplace safety standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Ensure all incident reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner and that appropriate collective measures are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of BES Operator Class I & II Certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail operation experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving targets
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for project management, estimation, and reporting
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively multitask
  • Mandarin required
