About the job

We are supporting a leading 3PL and contract logistics business in the UAE with the appointment of a Senior Operations Manager to lead a complex, high-volume warehousing operation in Dubai.

The successful candidate will take ownership of operational performance across warehousing, inventory, customer SLAs, productivity, cost control and continuous improvement, while leading and developing a sizeable operations team.

• Key responsibilities include:Lead day-to-day warehouse and contract logistics operations
• Deliver agreed customer SLAs, KPIs and service levels
• Drive warehouse productivity, capacity utilisation and operational efficiency
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and stock integrity
• Manage operational budgets, labour costs and indirect expenditure
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure effective utilisation of WMS and operational reporting systems
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse operations teams
• Work closely with customer service, transport and commercial teams
• Maintain strong standards across HSSE, compliance and operational procedures

• Candidate profile:8+ years’ experience within 3PL, contract logistics or large-scale warehousing
• Proven experience leading complex warehouse operations and sizeable teamsPrevious experience leading warehouse operations and sizeable teams
• Strong understanding of WMS, inventory control and warehouse KPIs
• Demonstrable experience managing customer SLAs and operational performance
• Commercial understanding of warehouse costs, productivity and resource planning
• Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving capability
• UAE/GCC logistics experience would be advantageous
