JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations across multiple ready-mix concrete plants within our designated region. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing teams to achieve operational goals. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to foster relationships with both internal teams and external partners. The Regional Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence, ensuring high-quality standards, and supporting business growth within the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the concrete or construction industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and best practices in ready-mix concrete production and delivery.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to build relationships and support plant teams.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve operational challenges effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with operations management software is a plus.
• Ability to travel regularly within the region, with daily site visits required.

• Lead and manage the performance of multiple ready-mix concrete plants to ensure alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are met consistently across all plants.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and ensure cost-effective practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to make informed decisions aimed at improving productivity and reducing waste.
• Foster a positive and safety-driven work environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development among plant managers and staff.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to ensure effective communication and coordination across all plant functions.
• Identify and address opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and business growth within the region.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
