JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a driven, focused, and highly skilled change agent who is technology oriented for a Senior Operations Manager role that is strategically positioned for long-term career growth in a fast-growing company.
You will have a critical role in reimagining the customer experience and internal operations using innovative technologies to develop and modernize our company. You will work directly with general management and leadership teams to lead transformation initiatives that leverage AI and other advanced software to optimize efficiency and standardization as we continue scaling up.
You will work with a team of experienced, skilled, and technology driven senior company managers to transform and manage operational areas that include Laboratory Production, Field Production, Order Logistics, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Facilities, and Metrology Engineering. By collaborating with diverse stakeholders – including all Operations, Software, Admin, and Sales & Marketing – you will help enhance processes and turn ambitious ideas for technology and operations management into reality. You will help implement proactive solutions for detection and control to manage irregularities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every level of operations. As a leader, you will instill a culture of continuous improvement, and the values needed throughout the organization to ensure the ongoing integrity of changes as we rapidly expand and grow. This position requires strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and business skills, a customer-focused mentality, and a technical aptitude for technology-driven innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in a related field with strong academic performance. MBA or related masters strongly preferred.
  • A mix of Business and Science/Engineering backgrounds strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive managerial experience in operation-focused roles.
  • Excellent Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Driven to achieve closure in achieving business objectives through leading and implementing different operational initiatives.
  • Able to develop multiple priorities in technology and operations management in a dynamic atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Help analyze, redesign, implement, and optimize business processes over time to improve the company’s quality and efficiency (market share and profitability). This will be achieved with the guidance of senior management and with the support of various departments such as software engineering, metrology engineering, and fulfilment.
  • Assure successful outcomes with lasting impacts. This includes assurance of success in the project management process and the change management process with internal and external stakeholders at various staff and management levels.
  • Perform business analysis to reimagine and flow down business requirements to the software team to improve in-house developed software.
  • Optimize customer experience using technology to standardize and automate the company’s service offerings, both customer-facing and behind the scenes.
  • Employ all tools at your disposal, including AI, to help reimagine and redesign the business’ transformation systems.
  • Lead cross-functional corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain constant communication with management teams, staff, and other stakeholders to promptly detect irregularities and ensure proper business operation and continuous alignment of all parties.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure operational success and drive employee development and organizational change.
  • Reduce reliance on senior leadership by managing day-to-day operating activities.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout operations.
  • Help analyze, redesign, implement, and manage metrics for departments to achieve targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, deliver excellent customer service, etc.
  • Help analyze, redesign, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and ensure that compliance with current standards and best practices.
  • Help provide initial leadership to build systems and relationships crucial to the success of the company, with organizational impact. Provide ongoing leadership to ensure their continuous integrity, effectiveness, and further evolution.
