We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager with a strong background in the construction industry to oversee and optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading project delivery, managing field operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and operational staff to drive performance and professional development.
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with company objectives.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to align operations with long-term business goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Analyze operational performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
