Funding contingent continuing employment, Part time (0.8FTE) located in Lismore Lead the operations behind healthcare training that makes a real difference to regional communities Base Salary $117,133 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The University Department of Rural Health Northern Rivers is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Operations Officer to oversee the delivery of a dynamic simulation and clinical training program supporting students, clinicians, and healthcare professionals across the Northern Rivers region. This is a newly redesigned role offering the opportunity to shape how the program operates, strengthen partnerships with key health stakeholders, and drive improvements that enhance training outcomes and health workforce capacity. In this role, you will: lead the operational delivery of simulation-based education and workforce training activities build strong relationships with healthcare partners, clinicians, and university stakeholders develop systems, processes, and governance frameworks that support sustainable growth coordinate resources, facilities, schedules, and service delivery activities supervise administrative staff and support a network of casual trainers contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects About You You are an experienced operations professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and bringing structure to complex environments. You will bring: experience managing operations, programs, or services within a complex organisation strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills demonstrated people leadership capability excellent organisational and communication skills the ability to balance competing priorities and influence outcomes experience within healthcare, education, training, or related sectors will be highly regarded Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
