Job Description

  • You will supervise team members below your level and ensure the completion and approval of all daily tasks, while overseeing the smooth processing of corporate actions, trading counterparties, custodian banks, and central securities depositories
  • You will investigate mismatches, identify optimization opportunities, develop scalable processes, and manage the execution of time-sensitive tasks to ensure quality assurance, on-time processing, and drive operational excellence
  • You will coordinate and be responsible for communication with our external partners as well as internal development teams to ensure smooth processing and drive improvements
  • You will lead detailed corporate action event analyses to set the foundation for operational decision making and identify process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have successfully completed a banking apprenticeship, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent
  • You gained multiple years of experience in securities services, corporate actions, brokerage or asset management; prior involvement in a bank’s middle or back office is a plus
  • You have an in-depth understanding of technical and legal requirements, market standards as well as practices for processing corporate actions and possess expertise with German domestic settlement systems and processes of Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, as Xact, CASCADE etc.
  • You are able to evaluate results, make fact-based decisions and update relevant stakeholders in a time-sensitive environment while managing competing priorities
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
