This role is part of Alcon’s Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.
The Operator II, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Handle complex manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
• Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
• Make minor decisions within task scope, requiring technical skills and problem-solving
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations to align with business objectives and drive excellence
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing training
• Commit to regulatory compliance, meet individual job requirements, and contribute to organizational compliance and continuous improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Previous machine operator experience is highly preferred
