REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on cloud technology (preferably Oracle OCI).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle OCI cloud architecture, operations, and management.
• Oracle OCI certifications (Cloud Ops, Architecture, Security, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture paradigms, containers, serverless, and DBaaS.
• Expertise in cloud networking architectures (VNETs, VPN, Subnets, NSGs, load balancers, etc.).
• Experience with security and regulatory frameworks (NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP).
• Hands-on with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, scripting, and automation tools.
• Experience with monitoring and configuration management tools (Fleet, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).

ABOUT THE ROLE

The selected candidate will assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings. You will collaborate with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant solutions aligned with best practices and well-architected frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and review Oracle OCI solutions.
• Perform security and compliance reviews for proposed changes and projects.
• Document technical architectures and design frameworks.
• Provide leadership on OCI migration, operations, and cloud-native implementations.
