SENIOR ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining Oracle databases, implementing Oracle GoldenGate solutions, and ensuring database security. The role involves optimizing database performance and managing SSL certificates, contributing to the enhancement of the platform’s shared services.

SENIOR ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Experience as an Oracle DBA - 5 years
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle GoldenGate - 2+ years
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Advanced Security - 5 years
• Demonstrated excellence in performance tuning
• Experience with SSL certificate management

SENIOR ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB is a strong asset
• Banking experience

• Administer and maintain Oracle databases
• Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate solutions
• Ensure database security using Oracle Advanced Security features
• Optimize database performance through advanced tuning techniques and OEM
• Manage and renew SSL certificates
• Provide exceptional customer support and communicate effectively with stakeholders
