QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or Sales & Marketing is an asset;
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Above average computer skills with the ability to proficiently use the Microsoft Office

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and build new relationships with existing and new potential clients;
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers;
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls;
  • Manage sales cycle to close new business in all products and services offered;
  • Maintain information in SalesForce.com database, manage pre-qualification process, get AlumaSafway on bid lists and track bids on websites;
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities;
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, presentations, proposals, and other documentation as required;
  • Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring;
  • Meet with clients and present proposals to clients and respond to inquiries;
  • Keep up to date on industry sales efforts and programs in the branch territory;
  • Answer customer and potential customer telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner;
  • Review and forward incoming inquires to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion;
  • Assist walk-in customers with inquiries and needs, perform customer service related activities
