WE ARE SEEKING A SENIOR OUTSYSTEMS DEVELOPER TO JOIN A PROJECT FOR ONE OF OUR PREMIUM PRIVATE CLIENTS BASED IN SYDNEY (CBD).

Contract Length - Initial 6 months of contract with potential extension

• Work model: Hybrid

  Role is open to all candidates with full working rights.

✪ REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in OutSystems.
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, components, and development lifecycle.
• Experience with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• OutSystems certifications (Associate, Professional, or Expert) are highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding or experience with superannuation systems.
• Experience in enterprise application development and deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions that meet business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and application architecture.
• Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems via APIs and web services.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with OutSystems platform enhancements and industry trends.
