Job Description We are looking for a Senior P&C Systems Specialist – Payroll to join our People & Culture Shared Services team. This is a key functional and technical role, responsible for ensuring our P&C and payroll systems deliver business value, operational efficiency, compliance and a great user experience. You will partner closely with P&C, Payroll, Finance, IT, leaders and external vendors to translate business needs into practical system solutions. You will play a lead role in optimising functionality, improving data quality, supporting payroll outcomes, managing integrations and driving continuous improvement across our systems and processes. What you’ll be doing Act as the functional subject matter expert for our system Technology One across its HRIS and payroll functions, providing advice on system capability, configuration, process and design. Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, automation, data quality, payroll outcomes and user experience. Lead the evaluation, testing and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades and new functionality. Partner with Payroll to optimise processes, improve data integrity and support testing, validation, reconciliation and issue resolution. Troubleshoot complex system issues and work with IT and external vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution. Generate reports, dashboards and insights that support decision-making across Summerset Manage system access, security profiles and permissions to support strong controls Develop user resources, documentation, training materials and FAQs to build capability and support system adoption. Qualifications You will bring a strong mix of systems expertise, payroll knowledge, business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills. You are comfortable working across technical and non-technical audiences, and you enjoy turning business problems into practical, scalable solutions. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Demonstrated experience and confidence working with Technology One is a must have, including system configuration, process optimisation and operational controls. Strong functional knowledge of payroll processes and related legislative requirements. Experience analysing business requirements and translating them into effective system and process solutions. Experience supporting or leading system enhancements, testing, implementation and change. Strong understanding of data governance, controls, integrations and reporting. Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with data, reports and insights. Strong SQL/database skills and excellent numeracy. Clear communication, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to take ownership, challenge the status quo and recommend better ways of working.
