ABOUT YOU:

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in construction supervision or management. We are looking for someone with proven expertise in developing construction execution plans and methodologies. You will have a Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in EPC or EPCM projects. Including brownfield (live plant, PTW etc) project experience with construction contractor or EPCM.

Responsibilities

DAY TO DAY, YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Lead multiple project packages, tagged items, and bulks, overseeing their lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality, and procurement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, and clients, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure materials and equipment are available per schedule and budget, manage procurement cycles, and ensure timely delivery of fabricated items.
  • Assist in developing project plans, specifications, and proposals; offer constructability input and proactively manage project scope changes.
  • Resolve construction issues, provide technical assistance, and manage third-party contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor the project schedule, resolve issues, and maintain health of the project schedule to meet agreed milestones.
  • Oversee project budgets, approve expenditures, control project costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes, assess supplier capabilities, and conduct audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Participate in risk assessments, maintain the project risk register, and manage mitigation actions for risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate all parties involved, manage client relationships, and ensure project objectives and client expectations are met.
