CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree preferred in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline — equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • Minimum 3 years’ industry experience — ideally in thermoforming, with other plastic manufacturing sectors considered
  • Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and rendering software like Keyshot
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communicator with technical proficiency in specifications and measurements
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and receptive to design feedback

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Packaging / Product Designer to bring fresh ideas and proven skills to our collaborative design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 3 years of industry experience—ideally in thermoforming, although experience in other plastic packaging sectors will also be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design innovative thermoformed packaging that meets functional, aesthetic, and market demands
  • CAD model and modify packaging components using Autodesk Inventor
  • Produce photorealistic renderings using Keyshot for client presentations
  • Collaborate with Business Development to understand customer needs and participate in site visits
  • Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to deliver production-ready concepts
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure prototypes meet expectations
