  • Experience in food manufacturing highly desired
  • Experience in a packing department (desired)
  • Leadership in a business department (desired)

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all products are properly packed and comply with safety standards, including preventing foreign body contamination, maintaining temperature control, and ensuring that weight tolerances and quality specifications are met.
  • To ensure complete traceability for all packed products.
  • To effectively manage and coordinate labour to ensure departmental duties are completed within required timeframes.
  • To oversee and facilitate continuous staff training and development.
  • To maintain compliance with GMP standards at all times, including adherence to maintenance and segregation requirements.
  • To ensure proper stock rotation and effective management of partially filled boxes.
  • To ensure timely product dispatch through effective coordination with the Goods Out team, manager, and dispatch manager to meet customer orders.
  • To identify and report any performance or training issues to the Packing Manager.
  • To oversee the packing shed operations and promptly report any issues.
  • To ensure that health and safety audits are conducted by the relevant staff and any issues are addressed promptly.
