Senior Dietitian - Paediatric   Ongoing, Part Time position | 2 days per week | work life balance! We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.   In this role  you will    provide clinical leadership in the practice of Nutrition and Dietetics generally, and in particular, excellence of practice and specialist dietetic knowledge in a nominated area (paediatrics).  provide clinical services to children and their families at Community Health, Eastern Health, utilising both group and individual therapy models  provide clinical leadership to a team of dietitians and allied health assistants  work closely with other dietitians, paediatric allied health professionals and allied health assistants to ensure optimal evidence based interventions  support the growth of development of dietitians through clinical supervision and professional development  collaborate with colleagues across Eastern Health and with other Allied Health professionals to lead quality improvement and research activities  work with the Team Leader and other senior professionals to guide the operational and professional performance of the team and ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved.      About you      You are a skilled and compassionate dietitian, bringing:    Specialist knowledge / experience in care of paediatric client in the community health setting  Demonstrated experienced in the delivery of clinical education and clinical supervision, including coaching and performance management for students and staff  Passionate about developing others, with strong organisational skills and a clear, warm communication style  Enjoyment in developing others, are highly organised and are clear and warm communicator.  Leading by example, thriving in a community environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based dietetic interventions  Proven leadership experience that fosters a culture teamwork and continuous learning and development  Innovative and dynamic leadership in the field of Dietetics. Leading capability development will be an area that will excite you  Knowledge of evidence translation and innovation to ensure Eastern Health continues to meet needs of our community now and in the future  Experience in assessment and delivery of therapy in both group and one to one models for clients with communication difficulties.   Experience in the assessment and management of patients presenting with Paediatric Feeding Disorders    Mandatory Requirements:    Well consolidated clinical experience in paediatric dietetics (minimum 7 years)  Proven experience leading a team of Dietetic clinicians in clinical research / quality improvement  An approved undergraduate or post graduate degree in Dietetics  Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practicing APD membership    Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.   Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year.
