Description

The position of Senior Paralegal is responsible for providing day-to-day paralegal support to in-house counsel in multiple jurisdictions regarding legal issues with different levels of complexity, including, but not limited to, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, processing, revising, tracking, and filing of agreements as well as providing assistance with litigation, corporate governance, special projects and performing other operational assignments for the Company and its subsidiaries. The role is based in the U.S., at our Las Vegas, Nevada, office or our Franklin, Tennessee office, with hybrid schedules currently available.

Responsibilities
  • Work on legal documents requiring minimal independent drafting using Company-approved templates, including processing, revising, tracking, and filing agreements.
  • Independently draft high-effort legal documents, review vendor agreements, and manage the agreements’ lifecycle.
  • Conduct legal, regulatory, and business-related research for in-house counsel and clients.
  • Balance priority and rush assignments efficiently.
  • Assist with due diligence investigations and requests for Company transactions.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding the status of assignments with in-house counsel, business clients, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate proficient professional skills and business intuition.
  • Lead or assist with real estate, marketing, development, licensing, financing, corporate, and special commercial projects.
  • Provide opinions and mentorship on contractual relationships under the direction of in-house counsel.
  • Train clients and co-workers on processes and legal issues related to your area of expertise.
  • Negotiate agreements with sophisticated authorities under the direction of in-house counsel.
  • Draft corporate consents, resolutions, and other corporate documents, and coordinate the appointment and removal of corporate officers and directors.
  • Provide litigation support, including preparing quarterly litigation reports, coordinating document production, and corresponding with insurers.
