REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of UK contract law and commercial property matters
• Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth business (in-house experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working directly with senior management and external legal advisers
• Legal qualification or law degree preferred but not essential if backed by strong experience

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organised, ) to take ownership of all internal legal matters across the group. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone comfortable operating across a range of legal areas, with a strong commercial mindset and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and external law firms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, and manage a wide range of contracts including procurement agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and supplier terms
• Support and coordinate the negotiation, renewal and compliance of all commercial real estate leases across our national practice portfolio
• Maintain an internal contracts database and ensure timely renewals, compliance tracking, and version control
• Act as the first point of contact for legal queries within the business, escalating to external counsel when required
• Liaise with external legal firms and manage ongoing legal instructions, billing, and deadlines
• Support with legal due diligence, acquisitions, corporate structuring, and other commercial projects
• Assist in building scalable legal processes as the business grows
