As Invia Media Group’s Media Sales Manager (m/w/d), you’ll convert advertising opportunities into closed deals by collaborating closely with the Media Operations and Client Success teams. You’ll own the sales pipeline for assigned territories/verticals (e.g., tourism boards, hotel chains, airlines), ensuring campaigns align with Invia Media Group’s ad products and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth:
  • Prospect, pitch, and close deals with travel advertisers (brands, agencies, tourism boards) to meet yearly quotas.
  • Leverage IMG’s audience insights (e.g., travel intent data, booking trends) to position ad products effectively.
  • Sales Execution & Campaign Support:
  • Partner with Ad Operations to translate client KPIs (e.g., ROAS/ROMI, brand lift) into actionable media plans.
  • Deliver persuasive proposals/pitches using case studies (e.g., “Ski resort campaign drove 25% uplift in winter bookings”).
  • Monitor campaign performance post-sale, collaborating with Client Success to resolve issues and secure renewals.
  • Client Retention & Upselling:
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with top clients to identify upsell opportunities (e.g., expanding geo-targeting, testing new ad formats).
  • Build relationships with mid/senior-level marketing decision-makers (Brand Managers, Performance Marketing Heads).
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Track competitor activity (e.g., rates, ad formats) and share insights with the Head of Media Operations to refine pricing/packaging.
  • Provide client feedback to shape IMG’s ad product roadmap (e.g., demand for video ads, dynamic creative tools).
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Ad Ops to ensure smooth campaign handoffs and troubleshoot delivery issues.
  • Train junior sales associates on IMG’s value proposition and sales processes.
