Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is currently seeking a Senior Partner Management Specialist to join the Strategy and Business Operations – Global Sourcing & Vendor Management (GSVM) team in Kent, WA; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA or Berkeley, MO.
The role is responsible for managing IDT&S supplier sourcing efforts and vendor management of Information Technology (IT) key suppliers. The position will work closely with multiple levels of IDT&S leadership and Product Managers to refine sourcing strategies, consult on the optimal mix of insource/outsourced work, develop Request for Proposal/Information documentation (e.g. Statements of Work, Performance Metrics) and lead the technical evaluations of bidder proposals. Additionally, the position will lead vendor governance, relationship management, performance management, and Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) mitigation support.
Strong cross-functional partnerships will be required with other Boeing organizations, including but not limited to: Indirect Supply Chain, Finance, Global Trade Controls, Global Privacy Office, and Information Security.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing or equivalent combination of procurement, project management, and vendor management
  • 5+ years of experience in working with suppliers, developing statement-of-work and technical performance specifications
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Sourcing or procurement related certifications
  • Project or Program Management related certifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Work with IT leaders and their organizations to solve business challenges and opportunities
  • Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that optimize the placement of work, internally and externally to meet business goals and objectives
  • Lead, develop, and manage the documentation of Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, deliverables, and performance metrics (e.g., service level agreements, service level objectives, key performance indicators) in partnership with IT Product Managers
  • Lead bidder SOW evaluations, assess supplier capabilities, and gaps to requirements
  • Assist Product Managers with supplier implementation and transition efforts
  • Drive vendor management best practices and establish vendor governance (e.g., operations management, relationship management, performance management)
  • Work with suppliers to develop or mature their capabilities to handle the IT work statements
  • Manage stakeholder & supplier relationships through the sourcing lifecycle
  • Identify, manage, and lead mitigations of sourcing or vendor related risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Facilitate supplier billing oversight and reconciliation
  • Stay up to date with trends in Information Technology, Procurement, and Sourcing industry best practices
