Mō te Tūranga | About the Role As a Senior Partner – Small Business, you'll be responsible for motivating and leading a growing team of Small Business Partners to deliver our in market, customer facing proposition with the goal of achieving great outcomes for Small Business owners and growing our market share through acquisition. You will do this through fostering a positive, high-performance culture centered on team work and growth. What are the key day to day tasks for our Senior Partners? Leading and motivating a team of Small Business Bankers, through effective coaching and training. Actively managing resources to meet the peaks and troughs of activity within CAB Small Business. Drive and inspire team performance through regular conversations, development plans, employee recognition and feedback. Supports the Head of Small Business Partners in execution of a strategy for identifying new and existing business development activities to support the growth of Small Business market share. What attributes will make you successful? We’re looking for a motivate leader, you’ll be a natural coach, and someone who enjoys building relationships. With a growth mindset, commercial awareness and genuine desire to help small businesses thrive, you’ll inspire your team to delivery outstanding customer outcomes. You will bring: Proven leadership experience and a strong understanding of our Small Business customer needs would be an advantage. Your business acumen and lending knowledge will enable you to coach to market leading financial solutions. Knowledge of financial products and services, along with strong technical capability and understanding of Banking systems. Leadership experience, previous success developing, coaching and managing staff performance. Experience working within a fast paced and complex environment, where you have demonstrated your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
