The Senior Partnerships Marketing Specialist is responsible for working directly with partners to plan and implement partner activity to drive revenue growth of the strategic partnership’s channel. At the core of this role is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners. The Senior Partnerships Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager and support sales & business development leads to identify and onboard new partners and to cultivate these relationships with existing partners. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating joint marketing initiatives that improve mutual benefit and achieve shared business objectives. This role is crucial in expanding our customer reach within partner networks, improving brand visibility in partner channels, and supporting new customer acquisition for VistaPrint and VCS through channel partner marketing strategies.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in marketing or marketing account management role, focusing on partnerships, channel marketing, agency experience would be highly desirable but not crucial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, collaborating efficiently within different levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and be able to multitask.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to plan effective partner marketing initiatives
  • Relationship building and management
  • Proficiency in communication and collaboration platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • CRM Software proficiency (Salesforce preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their needs and objectives are met.
  • Partner Identification and Onboarding: Collaborate with BD teams to help identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic partners that align with business goals and target audience.
  • Joint Marketing Strategy and Execution: Develop, brief, implement, and lead joint marketing plans and initiatives with partners, including campaigns, promotions, content creation, and events, to drive mutual growth.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the B2B sales team to align partnership activities with sales objectives, provide partner support, and facilitate joint sales efforts.
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor, track, and analyse the performance of partner marketing initiatives, using data and metrics to measure return on investment, identify areas for improvement, and optimise strategies.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular communication and updates to both internal team members and partners on partnership activities, performance, and opportunities.
  • Market and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Handle the budget allocated to partner marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and enhancing return on investment.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of 12-month Partnership marketing activity plan, and partnership marketing initiatives & calendars
  • Own reporting for weekly, monthly, as well as ad hoc reports on various campaigns and tests. Identify trends and find actionable insights, flagging opportunities to grow or optimise performance across strategic partners
  • Understand campaign KPIs, identify gaps and opportunities to drive promotional optimisation.
  • Other projects as requested by the leadership team.
