Description

Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Parts Advisor to join our team, at our Kelowna facility.
Wage is based on based on level of experience, skills and qualifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years Parts sales experience.
  • Position requires working the counter, answering phones, and assisting mechanics.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word & Excel. Knowledge of DIS Quantum is an asset.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the parts/warehousing trade.
  • Committed to customer service, efficiency, service excellence, and achievement.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (oral & written) is necessary for this position, for effective communication with customers, the service team and other branch personnel.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Positive work ethic.
Responsibilities
  • Reports directly to the Branch Manager in the Kelowna branch
  • Develops, communicates, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Promotes and merchandises parts and accessories in conjunction with other store locations
  • Monitors annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
  • Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes annual physical inventory cycle counts and proper counter procedures
  • Maximizes use of special terms and stock orders to achieve management stock order goals
  • Identify deficiencies within the parts department and make recommendations on corrective action to the Branch Manager and implement action plans as directed
  • Any other responsibilities as designated by the Kelowna Branch Manager
