OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating high-quality dishes that delight our customers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for managing the dessert section, ensuring that all ingredients are prepared and organized efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This position is required to be able to work in the cold appetizer station as well.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a high end restaurant at the pastry section is essential.
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, baking, and cake decorating.
  • Knowledge and skills in appetizer preparation and making.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize ingredients for daily menu items, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Be responsible in cooking and baking tasks, including plating, preparation and menu creation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staffs to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and boh supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety protocols.
