Description

Le Croissant is an Americanized French bakery in downtown Logan, Utah with a focus on local and quality. We are committed to producing all our products from scratch and using locally-milled, certified organic flour. We currently wholesale our artisan bread and pastires through partnerships with local businesses, and sell direct-to-consumer at our retail location, through special orders, and at the Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market. As a small business in our third year, we are growing fast and change is a constant.

This person will bake and garnish daily pastry bakes, work quickly to achieve the day’s production needs with our team (lamination, forming, mixing, and cooking custards, creams, and the like), and get ahead on standing menu production. Ideal candidates will have experience laminating, scaling, proofing, and baking croissant, danish, and brioche.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries according to established recipes and quality standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and tools

- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety
- Be dependable and adaptable
- Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
