How you will contribute A Senior Patient Access Specialist who excels in this role: Responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Patient Access Area. Provides new hire training and assists staff with training as needed. Accurately registers all patients seeking access to hospital services. Responsible for up front collections of time of service. Previous clerical, collections and credit experience; knowledge of healthcare accounts receivable billing and collections, experience with automated systems applications is highly preferred. Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting hospital patient access staff. Previous leadership experience is a plus. Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.
