The Senior Patient Services Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service. Serves in both the front office performing administrative tasks, as well, in the back-office escorting patients to the exam room and safely conducting routine rooming tasks. We are hiring for Senior Patient Services Specialist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week. Apply today! Required Qualifications: Upon hire: AHA BLS 1 year Customer service experience, or successful completion of Providence internship. Medical terminology experience. Completed rooming training; Greets incoming patients, obtains initial vital signs (Height, Weight, BP, Pulse, Respirations) and in accordance with predefined metrics. Documents pertinent patient care information. Prepares rooms for new patients. Stocks room supplies and carts. Utilizes and maintains supplies to minimize waste. Preferred Qualifications: Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems. Medical office or health care experience. Why Join Providence?
