Senior Pattern Technologist (Based at MDS - Ratmalana) The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. Positioned as a global centre of excellence, the Bodywear Value Stream combines advanced product innovation, technology-led solutions and operational scale to meet evolving consumer expectations across intimate and swim categories. We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to join the Intimates team as a Senior Pattern technologist. This role would require you to hold the ownership of the technical aspects of the product by adhering to the critical path to achieve customer expectation & give leadership to a team of pattern techs to fulfil their job responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure patterns are created in alignment with the design intent and according to the pattern creation process upon receipt of the Tech pack. * Timely communication with the stakeholders for technical clarification if required. * Verify accuracy of patterns against samples whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues. * Make sure customer comments are accurately incorporated at each cycle to achieve the expected fit requirements. * Ensure patterns are graded accurately according to the customer specifications. * Ensure all samples meet the given specifications and standards prior to fitting and dispatching them to the Customer along with the relevant documents. * Participate for the fit sessions and adhere to the fit protocols. * Facilitate costing, Sampling and ordering processes by providing accurate patterns and other relevant document in a timely manner. * Contribute to factory engagement points by providing accurate product related information and timely follow up on agreed actions. * Coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech packs by liaising with relevant teams; on time and accurate document submission to the production. * Adhere to critical path at each gate during product development process. * Facilitate on the job training for subordinate pattern techs. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * Diploma in Textile & Clothing * B.Sc Engineering textile & Clothing degree will be an added advantage * 05+ years of experience in the similar capacity * Experience in Gerber software

Responsibilities

Lead a team of pattern technologists to ensure patterns align with design intent and meet customer fit requirements. Manage the technical critical path from tech pack receipt through to production submission and factory engagement.
