Description
The Senior Payments Operations Analyst will provide administrative support for the day-to-day operations, settlements, reconciliation and supporting all our global payment gateways and offices. Liaising with various gateways globally ensuring the smooth running of each gateway and settling funds to our desired account. Sandbox testing for any new Payment Service Providers (PSP’s) to ensure all functions are working before going live. Leading KYC onboarding, testing and conducting meetings with PSP’s/internal stakeholder, providing guidance to other staff members. Working closely with the finance team to analyse and optimise PSP fee structures and costs. Payments Infrastructure & PSP Management ● Own and optimise relationships with global PSPs, gateways and banking partners ● Lead PSP selection, onboarding, KYC and ongoing performance management Integration & Testing ● Lead integration and sandbox testing of new PSPs with Engineering and Finance ● Ensure transaction accuracy, stability and readiness pre go-live Operations & Settlement ● Oversee daily payment operations including deposits, withdrawals, settlements and funding flows ● Coordinate with Treasury on liquidity and settlement management Reconciliation & Controls ● Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations ● Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring strong control environment Data & Reporting ● Maintain accurate payment data across volumes, fees and performance ● Support monthly reporting and cost analysis across PSPs Process Improvement ● Identify inefficiencies and drive optimisation across payment routing, cost, and success rates Stakeholder Management Act as key liaison across Finance, Treasury, Engineering and senior management Essential ● Proven experience working in a fast paced, financial services environment ● Min 5 years Settlements/Reconciliation experience ● Relationship building skills ● Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets experience ● Pro-active, fast learner, accountable and reliable ● Strong attention to detail and accuracy ● High level of communication skills both written and verbal ● Ability to multi task and work under pressure ● Ability to work independently ● Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with the Eightcap’s values ● Positive ‘can do’ attitude Desired ● Strong academic foundation in Finance or Accounting, providing a deep understanding of financial markets and reconciliation principles ● Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records ● Previous experience working in a CFD Broker or from treasury or settlements ● An understanding or interest in trading, FX or general finance ● Can work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders with various levels of knowledge ● Excellent communicator and collaborator ● Strong client relationship management and customer service skills Same as any other employee in Eightcap
