REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role within the fintech or financial services industry.
  3. International Correspondent Bank Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working for an international correspondent bank, ideally experience in onboarding or managing a fintech, with a strong understanding of correspondent banking relationships, transaction processes, and compliance requirements.
  4. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global payment and banking operations, regulations, and market trends.
  5. Networking Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the banking sector.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
  7. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  8. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, think critically, and implement effective solutions.
  9. Results-Driven: Track record of achieving and exceeding partnership development and revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with global payment and banking institutions to enhance our fintech offerings and create new business opportunities.
  2. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner payment providers, banks, including executives, product managers, and operational teams.
  3. Global Corporate Account Setup: Lead initiatives to expand global corporate account setup, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for corporate clients interested in leveraging our fintech solutions. This includes creating and managing corporate accounts to facilitate efficient financial transactions.
  4. VIBANs Ecosystem Expansion: Drive the expansion of our customers’ VIBANs ecosystem, facilitating high conversion rates for international banking payments and transactions.
  5. Foreign Exchange (FX) Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of FX markets, currency exchange dynamics, and risk management to optimize financial transactions within the global banking partnerships.
  6. Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Possess a deep and up-to-date understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements in the financial industry, both at a global and regional level. Ensure adherence to these standards to mitigate risks and uphold ethical business practices.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to align partner objectives with our product roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of solutions that meet both parties’ needs.
  8. Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential payment and banking partners, ensuring terms are favorable, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.
  9. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and potential risks in the global payment and banking landscape.
  10. Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess the success of partnerships, providing regular updates to senior management.
  11. Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve issues that may arise during the partnership lifecycle, ensuring a positive and collaborative relationship.
