Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator – Workday (3-Month Contract, Remote)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Administrator for an immediate 3-month contract. The successful candidate will manage payroll for over 700 employees across Canada and the United States, in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and process end-to-end payroll for 700+ employees in Canada and the US.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in payroll processing, in line with Canadian and US regulations.
  • Manage all payroll operations in Workday — expertise in Workday is a must.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits as required.
  • Provide excellent service by responding promptly and professionally to payroll inquiries from employees.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience, including managing both Canadian and US payrolls.
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday Payroll — mandatory requirement.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian and US payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) — required due to management of US payroll.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
