Description
Responsible for all aspects of timely processing bi-weekly payrolls using Workday Payroll, Time and Absence. Participate in peer audit/review of payrolls being processed by team members and collaboratively communicates issues, as appropriate. Assist with providing data for SOX testing, internal/external audits and requests made by Legal, Tax, Finance, etc. Provide skilled technical support, which may include data coordination, data analysis, report writing and payroll system process improvements and testing. Develop and maintain department metrics. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting. 2-4 years experience working/processing payroll with systems such as Workday, ADP, Ultimate, etc. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Fundamental Professional Certification (FPC) or commitment to become certified within 18 months of hire as a condition of continued employment with ChampionX. US, multi-state payroll processing experience. Payroll processing experience in Workday. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of management within the organization. Ability to work well independently and be a collaborative team player. Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Interested in learning SAP payroll Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel Intermediate level of English Preferrably knowledge of US or CA payrolls but not a must
