About this Position As a Senior Payroll and HR Project Specialist, your primary mission will be to streamline and enhance our payroll processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency at every step. This role addresses critical operational challenges by acting as a Subject Matter Expert in time and payroll management, particularly concerning local taxation and legislation. What you´ll do Execute HR and Payroll processes effectively using standardized templates to meet service commitments and SLAs Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Time and Payroll including UK and Ireland’s taxations, legislative and statutory pay impacting topics during project implementations Collaborate with global implementation teams, vendors, and local HR to ensure comprehensive capture of solution requirements and process definitions High involvement in the project roll-out from initiation phase until implementation that includes gathering of business requirements, process documentation, and testing Support the payroll team in managing end-to-end payroll processes, including system execution, data maintenance, reconciliation and validation, and compliance with government reporting What makes you a good fit Bachelor's Degree in any field Minimum of three (3) years working experience in UK and Ireland payroll process – with deep understanding of local employment laws, payroll legislations, statutory requirements, and audit standards Must have proven track record in end-to-end project implementation – including planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and post-go-live stabilization within HR or Payroll System Transformations Background in creating process documentation and updating desktop procedure and job aids is needed; Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel testing, and implementing project go-live is an advantage Knowledge in Dayforce and Workday is highly preferred; SAP is an advantage Intermediate knowledge in Excel is required Excellent command of the English language, with keenness to details, time management, and collaboration skills Amenable to work on mid-shift schedule (3:00 PM to 12:00 PM), and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati Some perks of joining Henkel A thriving career with the Top 15 Best Workplaces in the Philippines by Great Place to Work and the Top GBS Employer in the Philippines by the Everest Group for 4 consecutive years!
