We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Senior Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team in Sydney. You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Senior Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team in Sydney. You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients. We service a range of clients across:

  • Industry (NFP, airline, mining, agricultural & professional services)
  • Size (1 to 1,000 employees)
  • Local & International

ensuring that they comply with their regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the payroll team to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for both local and international clients.
  • Manage regulatory compliance obligations such as Payroll Tax, STP reporting, Superannuation and Salary Packaging
  • Manage client relationships including attending meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects including new client implementations.
  • Continuously develop a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation so our clients remain compliant.
  • Experience using Keypay or Payroll Metrics payroll systems is preferable, but not essential.
  • Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel.
