Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our Payroll team on a 9-12 month contract basis.  This role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of Australian and international payrolls, providing expert payroll support to the business, and mentoring team members. Key Accountabilities: Payroll: * Manage weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple entities.  * Support preparation of international payrolls. * Calculate, remit and report payroll deductions and on-costs including superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG, and long service leave accurately and on time. * Support month-end and year-end payroll activities. * Process new starters, employee terminations and ad hoc payments as required. * Contribute to and manage ad hoc payroll projects. * Participate in internal and external audits. * Provide training, guidance and support to payroll team members.   Systems: * Update and maintain employee payroll data in line with policies and procedures. * Produce and deliver payroll reports as required by the business.   Business Support: * Respond to payroll and system-related queries in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). * Provide system support to users, ESS and MSS.   Qualifications: * Current legislative payroll-specific qualifications or courses.   Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience: * Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering end-to-end payroll. * Strong understanding and experience interpreting EBAs and ECAs. * Intermediate Excel skills. * High level of attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organisational and time management skills.   Desirable Skills: * Knowledge of Preceda and Oracle highly regarded.   Why Sedgman? * Global industry leader with offices worldwide. * Flexible work arrangements and work-life balance. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Work within multidisciplinary teams to expand your experience and capabilities. * Join our AIA Vitality program, which rewards healthy choices with vouchers and discounts on activities, shopping, and travel.   What Next?
