Job Purpose DP World is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the People team, located in Sydney CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all payrolls, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations. You will provide strategic support to the National Payroll Manager while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of payroll systems and associated processes. Additionally, you will also manage and enhance HRIS reporting, delivering clear and actionable data to support business decision-making. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available, working Monday to Friday, starting from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Key Accountabilities Ensure accurate processing of payroll, superannuation, and payroll tax in line with legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements. Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate regular and ad hoc payroll and HR reports to meet business needs and user satisfaction. Support, maintain, and optimize HRIS systems to improve functionality, compliance, and system performance. Maintain payroll and personnel records with high accuracy and integrity, ensuring timely updates and compliance with legislative requirements. Respond promptly to payroll-related enquiries, ensuring employee confidence and satisfaction. Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and reporting processes, liaising with payroll, HR staff, and management to implement best practices. Qualifications, Skills and Experience 5 year’s experience managing full payroll functions using computerised systems, with strong knowledge of awards, legislation, and HR processes. Proven experience in systems, reporting, and data analysis, with strong numerical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on educating users and delivering quality service. Effective team player able to manage own workload, prioritise tasks, handle pressure, and respond to urgent requests.
