Job Summary Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be a key Payroll Officer in a medium-sized team responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payrolls for 5,000 staff on a fortnightly basis. This is a fixed term position until July 2026. Your activities Full end-to-end payroll processing Assist with interpreting and implementing required changes Support system implementations and updates Contribute to the development and documentation of robust payroll systems and processes Handle payroll filing and archiving Address payroll queries efficiently Prepare payroll for fortnightly pay runs Respond to payroll queries promptly Process Workers' Compensation claims and payments Manage the processing of monthly journals as needed Perform Payroll General Ledger reconciliations Undertake other duties as requested Your profile Payroll experience is absolutely essential, with a minimum of 5 years preferred. Advanced skills in Pay Global (essential – minimum 5 years) A team player who can be productive with minimal supervision. Ensure business communication is handled appropriately. Stakeholder-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships. Attention to detail is crucial. Ability to interpret employment agreements is a must. Complete required tasks accurately and promptly. Basic accounting knowledge is essential. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required for reporting. What we offer Permanent Full-Time position. Responsibilities
