JOB DESCRIPTION: Driven Brand’s Human Resources group is looking for a Driven Sr. Payroll Specialist who wants to make a difference! Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager and supporting our Payroll segment, this role is responsible for overseeing the preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll timecards for both the US and Canada. This role involves evaluating current systems, driving operational efficiency improvements, and generating reports to ensure accuracy and completeness in payroll processing. How you will Own It: Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and completeness within Workday. Ensure timely submission and approval of timecards for payroll processing. Resolve discrepancies in timecards by collaborating with employees and managers to correct issues such as missing punches and job corrections. Assist managers with onboarding processes to ensure new hires can properly clock in and out or make necessary adjustments. Analyze data related to unsubmitted or unapproved time and manually enter punches. What you’ll Bring: Proven experience as a payroll coordinator, analyst, or in a similar role. Strong familiarity with payroll processes and systems (experience with Workday required). Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Fair Labor Standards Act. Proficiency in Excel (functions, data management, etc.). Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of math. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
