Description
Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Supervisor for our client in the East of Johannesburg Full end-to-end payroll processing on Sage 300 People. Capture, validate, and process payroll inputs including salary changes, overtime, deductions, and leave. Perform pre-processing checks, validations, and variance reporting. Reconcile payroll control totals, bank files, and GL postings. Manage EMP201, EMP501, and IRP5 submissions. Ensure compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL, and BCEA regulations. Maintain system configurations including earning codes, leave rules, and GL mappings. Support ESS functionality and payroll system controls. Provide payroll reporting and audit support Requirements Completed Degree or Diploma in Payroll, Accounting 6 years’ payroll experience 3–5 years’ hands-on Sage 300 People experience (non-negotiable) Experience processing payroll for medium to large organisations (1000+ employees) Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and SARS submissions Advanced Sage 300 People payroll Advanced Excel skills Solid understanding of payroll GL integration and reconciliations Strong governance mindset and compliance focus
