General education, vocational training and/or on the-job training required Typically 4 or more years of Payroll tax experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, quality work product Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Proficient understanding of US payroll tax including federal, state, and local laws and regulations Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality High commitment to professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Ability to follow established procedures in a timely manner Partners with internal colleagues / clients / customers to resolve case creation/closure and Service Orders Case inquiries and follow up, email support and phone queue support Resolves moderate complexity, high volume tasks related to workflow, as assigned Communicates internally with colleagues and externally via client cases, email and telephone as primary customer support for Payroll Tax Compliance, Reporting, and W2 support Works proficiently in Salesforce to document customer inquiries and resolutions Processes various data related tasks withing the Payroll Tax organization such as payments, reports, check requests, registrations, and filings. Escalates identified customer concerns or tax changes to leadership Helps support newer Specialists as a SME Performs other duties as assigned Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office or home setting. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)-APA preferred Fundamental Payroll Certificate preferred
