In this role, you will leverage your expertise in pediatric medicine to provide exceptional care to children, guiding their health and development while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Essential Responsibilities: Lead the evaluation and treatment of complex pediatric cases, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs. Oversee and support junior pediatric staff, providing mentorship and leadership within the department. Utilize evidence-based practices to manage acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients. Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Engage with families by providing education on health, nutrition, and developmental milestones. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and educational programs within the healthcare organization. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with organizational standards. MD/DO degree with completion of a residency in Pediatrics. Board certification in Pediatrics required. A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in pediatrics, with progressive leadership responsibilities. Current medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong clinical skills, with a proven track record of managing complex pediatric cases. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient and family engagement. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of advancements in pediatric medicine.
